Gord Davenport started Gord Davenport Automotive Inc. in 1972.
Gord’s entrepreneurial spirit was fueled through his passion for automobiles and his drive to succeed.
Over the years Gord grew his business to four locations: Orangeville, Arthur, Shelburne and Bradford and a training center in Shelburne. |

Today Gord’s family continues his legacy to be actively involved in all aspects of G.D. Auto -- whether it be offering product advice to his customers or helping out in the warehouse.
While names and faces may have changed over the years, Gord’s vision of a community-focused and customer-friendly automotive aftermarket store has not. |

G.D. Auto is an Auto Sense Auto Parts store and is also affiliated with ACDelco and Automotive Industries Association of Canada.
These important industry connections allow us to keep our pricing at competitive levels while maintaining a substantial inventory. |

We are actively involved in the community -- serving as a valued member of Orangeville’s Chamber of Commerce, and are proud sponsors of both Minor Hockey and Lacrosse. We also donate generously to the Headwaters Health Care Centre with money raised through scrap batteries.
G.D. Auto was named the Canadian Jobber of the Year in 1994, and Orangeville’s Business of the Year in 1997.
